OUR HISTORY
The Sons of Arizona was founded in June of 2011 by a group of 12 Scottsdale and Phoenix locals for the benefit of the Children in our local communities.
Our mission is to lend a helping hand and give back. Our efforts are focused on inspiring local children, local school systems, charities, non profit organizations and individual kids who just need a little boost to get them where they need to be!

Currently serving Veterans and those looking to embrace life fully with Aqua Therapy Tubs! Father of two amazing kids Derek 9 – Genevieve 3. Married 15 years to his queen Reyna! Proud to be a part of Sons of Arizona with great desire to support the next generation of our great state!
Scott Pearson was born in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Arcadia HS from 89-9. Scott spent my years chasing down passions in life. After High School he spent a short stint in Oregon working at Timberline Ski Resort on Mt. Hood. Then he returned to Arizona and started a career in the Hospitality Industry. From the TEEPEE Mexican Food to the Royal Palms. That’s how it all started. Then Scott was blessed to earn his EMT and Wildland certifications and spent three seasons fighting fires. During the pandemic Scott went on to build homes and learn a new trade. Now Scott is currently a Mortgage Lender with Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. Sons Of Arizona was the perfect fit now that Scott’s kids are older and onto their new lives and he is so happy to be a part of it!

Born: Denver, Colorado Family: Married to Shioney, daughter Lexus, son Andrew, and stepson Alex Occupation: Loan Officer and Retired USAF Veteran Doug is a dedicated professional with 20 years of experience as a retired USAF Independent Duty Medical Technician (IDMT). Transitioning to a role as a Loan Officer, he thrives on balancing his work life with his passions. Outside of his career, he cherishes moments with his family, explores nature through hiking, revels in sports, strums the guitar, and generously volunteers his time in the community. His commitment extends further as an engaged member of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce’s Military and Veteran Affairs Committee.
