The Sons of Arizona was founded in June of 2011 by a group of 12 Scottsdale and Phoenix locals for the benefit of the Children in our local communities.

Our mission is to lend a helping hand and give back. Our efforts are focused on inspiring local children, local school systems, charities, non profit organizations and individual kids who just need a little boost to get them where they need to be!

Jacob Chapman

Jacob, the current President, is a resident of Scottsdale and is also a local real estate executive with Desert North Realty. Jacob focuses most of his time here in Phoenix buying and selling homes with his investment group. Jacob jumps at any opportunity to play a round of golf for charity, is a big sports fan and loves spending time with his wife and son.

Noah Brocious

Noah, acting Vice President for SOA, is an Arizona native and attended Scottsdale Christian Academy. He then attended California Lutheran University (CLU) and graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Business Administration in 2003 where he played four years of Men’s Intercollegiate Basketball. He is currently the COO for Capital Fund I, LLC (CFI), a licensed mortgage bank that specializes in short term private money loans for investors secured against real estate in Arizona. He lives in Phoenix with his wife Jenna and their son Bear. They love spending time with friends, exercising and traveling when they can get away.

Mike Hasenkamp

Mike, the acting Treasurer, is a native of Ohio, but moved to Arizona at the age of 4 before his family returned to Ohio in 1988.  In 2006, Mike and his Wife Julie relocated to Arizona which was a fulfillment of a dream for his wife, and a “return to home” for Mike.   Prior to returning back to Arizona, Mike obtained his business finance degree from Indiana- Purdue University Fort Wayne.  Upon graduation in 2002, he entered the Commercial Banking industry.  Currently he is a Commercial Relationship Manager with National Bank of Arizona.  He enjoys coaching his two girls and son in sports, and supporting the Arizona Community, and the future of this state.

Wade Blumling

Wade graduated from NAU and joined the Scottsdale Police Department where he is now a Sargent and dedicated to serving his community. Wade enjoys spending time with his family and working out. Wade, as no surprise, is our Sargent at Arms.

Derek Rogers

Derek, acting Secretary for SOA, moved to Arizona from Michigan at age 10.  He attended NAU and graduated with a BS in business management.  He has owned an Oroweat bread route for 16 years and has recently started Aqua Therapy Tubs, Inc, selling and installing walk in bathtubs and showers in the Phoenix area.  He loves boating, hiking and camping with his fiancé Teresa.  He is excited to help Sons of Arizona grow into a leading contributor to local children’s charities.

Jake Flesner

Jake, the current Champions Chair, was raised in North Phoenix is a Graphics Arts teacher at a local high school. Jake grew up in the same north Phoenix neighborhood he now teaches in. Being a teacher, he sees the untapped talent in our schools who could benefit from more inspiration from local community members. He is now volunteering his time outside of teaching with Sons of Arizona in an effort to make a difference in any way he can. Jake enjoys time with his new son and off roading in the desert.

Grant Mackenzie, Jr.

Grant, was born and raised in the Scottsdale-Phoenix area.  After graduating from Arizona State University in 2000, he knew he would never do anything other than Real Estate. He’s focused the past 16 years of his life on Real Estate in Scottsdale, Arizona and Rocky Point, Mexico. As one of the partners in RE/MAX Legacy  in Rocky Point he has been very active in the community where helping the locals became a part of everyday life. Grant moved back to Phoenix 8 years ago to focus on local Real Estate and is now an active agent with the RE/MAX Platinum Living. Grant enjoys spending time with his wife, son Nathan, and daughter Emma

Travis Chapman

Travis is the owner of Chapman Construction as well as a property manager for a real estate group. Travis is passionate about what he does as a career. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf if there is time left over.

Matt Blanton

Matt moved to Arizona at a young age and went to college at NAU. He is focused on growing the Sons of Arizona in donations to local charities and having some fun in the process. Matt currently is the President and Founder of Printing Solutions, a print and design firm in Scottsdale. He enjoys outdoor activities, CrossFit and enjoying the quality time with his wife and two girls.

Mark Colletti

Mark attended NAU and is a serial entrepreneur. Outside of keeping us on track as a charity, Mark is the Sales and Marketing Manager at PJ’s Performance Parts, an online performance parts company. Mark enjoys anything off road, water skiing, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and two kids.

Brendon Sarracino

Brendon was born in Venice Beach, California and he moved to Arizona in 1997 to attend school at NAU. Brendon owns Sarracino Construction specializing in high end custom homes and renovations. Brendon also owns Sargon Masonry Construction, which is a masonry contracting company specializing in land development and commercial projects. To say Brendon loves the outdoors is an understatement. Between fishing, hunting, mountain biking, and golfing, and spending time with his family, he truly enjoys living life to the fullest.

Ryan Kohnke

Co-Founder and Managing Partner of ITS Infinity Trading, a commercial aviation parts trading company, Ryan was a transplant to Arizona at a very young age. He is a product of the Scottsdale school system and a graduate of Northern Arizona University. Now, as a proud father, Ryan dedicates his time to his children and family and to giving back to his community.

Josh Glennie

Josh is an Arizona native and truly a genuine member to the community. Through strong family values, Josh lives with high integrity. He is currently a project manager with Premier Builders. Josh enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and playing golf.
